…some photos from 5 Boro Garden which is NYC Parks Department’s roof top garden at their HQ on Randall’s Island. VERY cool place. We got a great private tour to see what was happening (very enlightening even though the gardens were in winter mode). They are doing good work growing in bags, actually. Turns out that this type of roof cover is inexpensive, very efficient and very effective in insulating.
